Korr CardioCoach™ RMR & VO2 Fitness Assessment System & Total Healthcare Interactive™
At Propel Pilates and Fitness we use science to improve the efficiency of your workout and weight loss program. We utilize the Korr CardioCoach™ RMR and VO2 Fitness Assessment System and Total Healthcare Interactive™ Online.
The CardioCoach™ is a clinical quality instrument that measures your RMR (resting metabolic rate) and VO2 (heart and lung capacity). RMR is a measurement of how many calories you need per day to lose weight. VO2 testing will define your target heart rate zones to produce a more efficient cardio workout. We use your specific RMR and VO2 to tailor your workout for your specific metabolic requirements.
Propel Pilates is the FIRST AND ONLY studio in San Diego County that features the CoreAlign Unit. This apparatus is designed for a full body, kick butt workout that will further enhance and improve your body alignment, balance, and your Pilates workout.
Built by Balanced Body, the CoreAlign is an innovative exercise machine designed to develop strength, coordination and balance. Created by Jonathan Hoffman, PT, it is used by personal trainers, Pilates instructors and physical therapists as a functional training tool for clients with injuries, people looking to improve their overall fitness and athletic training for improved performance. Since most of the work is done in an upright position, the CoreAlign workout will enhance and further challenge your Pilates workout.
